Start with the authority responsible for the information.

Property websites are useful for orientation, but assessments, title records, taxes, transit and municipal rules should be checked at the source. The links below are selected because they lead to the organization responsible for that subject.

Why dates matter

Tax programs, municipal plans, transit service and assessment information change. A page that was correct two years ago may not be current today. This site therefore avoids publishing detailed thresholds when a responsible authority provides a current source.

Build a property-specific source list

Once a property is under serious consideration, generic regional information becomes less useful than address-specific research. Identify the municipality, assessment record, applicable strata corporation if any, transportation routes and the professionals involved in the transaction. Save links to the responsible sources so later decisions are based on current information rather than screenshots or old search results.
